Tools
Prepare tools and materials
Before you start installing your AKUROCK acoustic panels, make sure you have the following tools and materials to hand:
- A tape measure
- A pen for marking
- Suitable screws or adhesive for fixing to the wall.
- A cordless screwdriver or screwdriver.
- Possibly a saw if shortening is required.

Preparation
Prepare your wall
Clean the wall thoroughly and remove any obstacles such as screws or nails. Make sure the wall is smooth and even.
Fairs
Take wall dimensions
Measure the wall to ensure that the panels fit. Cut the panels to the right size if necessary.
Fastening
Fastening the Akurock acoustic panels
Attach the AKUROCK acoustic panels to the wall using either screws or adhesive.
With screws:
Use the 40mm long screws and fix the panels to the wall through the acoustic felt. For solid walls, we recommend using standard wall plugs. Use approx. 15 screws per panel for secure fastening.
With glue:
Apply the mounting adhesive in wavy lines to the back of the panels and press them firmly onto the wall.
Customization
Adjust the width of the Akurock acoustic panels
To shorten the width of the Akurock acoustic panels, all you need is a cutter knife.
Crop
Shorten Akurock acoustic panels
(if necessary)
Cut the panels as required.
Make sure that the ends of the strips are securely fastened with 15mm screws to ensure stability.
Excerpts
Dealing with sockets
If there are sockets, cut out the panels accordingly to create space for the sockets. The easiest way to do this is with a jigsaw.
